Payroll Services for Small Businesses

What our payroll services cover

  • Salary computation from attendance, leave, reimbursements and variable pay.
  • Payslips for every employee.
  • TDS on salary – computation under the regime each employee chooses, and quarterly 24Q returns.
  • PF, ESI and professional tax – contributions calculated and challans prepared.
  • Bank transfer file for salary payments.
  • Form 16 for employees at year end.

Why outsource payroll

Payroll errors upset employees and statutory delays attract interest and penalties. A dedicated team keeps calculations accurate, deadlines met and records ready for inspections.

Salary structure and the labour codes

A typical salary has basic pay, house rent allowance, other allowances, and employer contributions such as PF and gratuity. Under the labour codes now in force, if allowances make up more than half of total pay, the excess is treated as wages – which affects PF, gratuity and other benefits. We review your salary structure so that payslips, contributions and the cost to the company are calculated correctly.

Full and final settlement

When an employee leaves, payroll settles salary up to the last day, leave encashment as per policy, notice-period adjustments, and gratuity where the employee is eligible. Under the labour codes, final wages must be paid within two working days of the employee leaving. We prepare the settlement statement, the final payslip and the relieving formalities for PF and ESI.

Keeping payroll data safe

Payroll handles salaries, bank details and identity documents. We work through secure channels, restrict access to the people who need it, and keep records only as long as the law requires. Your employees' data stays confidential.

Getting started

If you are not yet registered for employee benefits, start with PF & ESI registration and professional tax registration. Monthly returns can be handled through PF & ESI return filing, and employment terms set out in an employment agreement.
